Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 5.0.4 QMR fix list:
Mail Client
SPR# JCOS4JJMYQ - Fixed a problem causing unread documents to be marked as read
when they were dragged to a folder in a database where IMAP folder references
were enabled. [5.0.4]
The issue occurs only with an IMAP-enabled mail file. When using a standard
Notes mail file, the user normally opens the mail file directly on the server
via File, Database, Open, or by clicking the mail icon in the Bookmark bar. If
the mail file is IMAP enabled and the user has properly set up the client for
IMAP, then clicking on the mail icon opens the local Proxy database, which
retrieves messages from the IMAP server. The local proxy can also be opened
via the Open Proxy button in the Account document.
If the user's client is not set up for IMAP, then the mail file should be
converted back to a normal Notes file, using the following command:
load convert -m- mail\database.nsfSupporting Information:
